Even more sensational than China's rising economic prominence is its great demand for natural resources. In the August 2010 edition of The China Analyst we show the impact of China on world commodity markets and present the underlying factors within China that have underpinned this influence.

Our first lead article illuminates China's role on the international scene in its push for supplies of natural resources. As a follow up, we detail China's urbanisation, infrastructure and industrial changes which drive this rising demand. In our third lead feature we cover China's great strides in nuclear power.

In the following sections, we highlight a number of contemporary issues shaping China's economy. SANDAL DYESTUFF INDUSTRIES LTD. is a member of Sandal Group, Sandal Group presently has about 700 employees, 4 Production facilities, 9 Sales Offices in Pakistan , an Overseas Liaison Office in Bangladesh with Head Office in Faisalabad (the major Textiles / Industrial City in Pakistan ). Our Group has interests in Imports, Trading, Exports of Textiles, Chemicals, Dyes, Engineering and Foundry works. Design and Fabrication of Chemical Plants and Equipment. We are the only producers of Spray Dryers in Pakistan .

Our mother company M/s. Sandalbar Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd. were exclusive agents for 12 years for BASF AG / Germany, Bayer AG / Germany , Sandoz / Switzerland simultaneously for their Disperse and Reactive dyes. We were also the pioneering promoters and distributors for 6 years in North Area of Sandoz Pakistan Ltd. of their locally produced Reactive Dyes, till we started our own production. Overall, our Group has an experience of 40 years in Dyestuffs Trade.

Project has started commercial production since January 2004.

- 1500 M.T / Year production of Synthetic Tanning Agents & Dispersing Agents, both
Phenol based and Naphthalene based.

- Full range of Leather Auxiliaries including Wax Emulsions, Nitrocellulose Lacquers,
Fat Liquors, Degreasing agents etc.

- Also planned for production of major dye-intermediates like H-Acid, 3,3-Dichloro
Biphenyl Diamine, Naphthols,Vinyl Sulphone Para Ester, Sulfo Tobias Acid, N-Methyl J
Acid, J-Acid, Aceto-acet-anilide etc.

Sandal Dyestuff Industries Ltd. handles its domestic sales in association with its sister concern Sandalbar Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd., which has four offices in Faisalabad, Lahore, Karachi & Islamabad. These facilities have been provided with warehouse at each location along with fully equipped, sophisticated customer service Labs. and highly experienced technical staff.
After Sales service sets Sandal apart from its competitors most of whom cannot match the prompt action and speed with which SDI handles its customer’s concerns. An extensive set up of Labs. and visiting experts has been employed to back our high quality products. The after sales service team through its centers located around the country can quickly respond to customer calls and provide solutions at their doorstep. The after sales service teams also collect valuable feedback from our customers – indispensable in developing new and customized products of their choice in the future.

The after sales teams at these centers provide supplies, trouble shooting and laboratory services to our customers.
